“As parents of three St. Mary’s Alumni, we can honestly attest to what a wonderful school St. Mary’s in Cranston is. From 1999 through 2019 we were part of the St. Mary’s School community. Our eldest son, Richard, began in the pre-school program in 1999 and graduated in 2010. He then graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School in 2014 and from the University of Rhode Island in 2019 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology.
“He is now studying medicine at the Robert Woods Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Our daughter, Jenna, also attended the pre-school program and graduated in 2015. She went on to La Salle Academy and graduated in 2019. She is currently majoring in Early Childhood Education at Rhode Island College. And finally, our youngest, Nicholas, who also attended from pre-school to his graduation in June of 2019, is now a sophomore at La Salle Academy.
“Through our time at St. Mary’s, we became friends with so many wonderful people. Most of our best memories are from the times we volunteered for the many social and fundraising events that St. Mary’s offered. We are extremely grateful to the faculty and staff for all they have done for our children. My children love St. Mary’s School. To them it is home.“

“The experience and education that I was fortunate enough to receive as a student at St. Mary’s School helped to shape who I am today. St. Mary’s helped to prepare me well for high school and I am lucky to have had some great teachers that truly cared and wanted to see me succeed. I also made some lifelong friendships along the way and have great memories from my days at St. Mary’s. It is a great school and community that I would highly recommend for any prospective students and families.”
Michael and I met at Saint Mary’s when I came in the fourth grade. We had Mrs. Eramian, who we later wrote a thank you note to for our engagement pictures. Mike & I reconnected in 2008, when he told me he actually liked me in grade school. I kept a piece of my diary from Saint Mary’s where I wrote about liking him. We then had that diary note read at our ceremony in 2014. We’ve been together 12 years now and are proud to send our children to St. Mary’s School.

We chose St. Mary School for our children because we wanted more for their education. We believed that a Catholic school education would provide them with a great foundation. Our choice has exceeded our expectations beyond words! The experiences that our children have shared, in and out of the classroom, at St. Mary School will impact them for a lifetime. The connections they have made to the faculty and staff are what sets St. Mary’s apart from other schools! My children go to school where they feel safe, loved and at home. Faith, hope, and love is truly what this school is built on. Next year we will start our 13th year at St. Mary School. A place that has been part of my family for over 30 years.
